Random Administrator
The process of drug testing doesn’t end with Pre-Employment testing. Many companies elect to do random drug testing, and others are obligated to comply with federally mandated rules which require random testing. As with every part of the drug testing process, GLOBAL is here to help you manage this aspect of your program. The Random Administrator is designed to track and manage our client’s mandated and non mandated testing needs.
The Random Selection program works the following way; we import an employee list into our database, identified by a special file for your company. Global-LIVE!, our secured custom designed customer website, allows the client to have secured access to update employee status, employee lists, terminate employees, and request random alternate selections when needed. New hires are automatically added into the database upon pre-employment drug screening. By doing this we save you the burden of adding new information. Terminations can be done via Global-LIVE! by the end user or by sending the Random Administrator an Excel spreadsheet for importing.
D.O.T. covered employees must achieve certain ratios of random, unannounced drug and alcohol testing, maintain records and statistics, and complete annual reports. The random selections must also be documented as being truly random and designed so that covered employees may be tested at any time. Our program is designed to comply with these regulations. Under federally mandated testing, random testing of covered employees should not be done all at one time. Rather, it should be done no less than quarterly, spread reasonably through the year and cover all hours of your operations.
